somersisle cats breeders of maine coon cats

maine coon cat Lois Lane My name is Samantha. I live with my partner John in Surrey with our 4 Maine Coons and our three other domestic breeds. Like many other Maine Coon owners we are now owned by our cats. It started with the arrival of Budletts Prince Bashir (Basher) in July 2004 as John's birthday present.

Five years later we now have five breeding females and have had our second litters of kittens (see Kittens page). At the moment we are showing the cats at various shows within the TICA & Fife accreditation system.

They have all gained enough points to make champion or double champion and just need to final to secure Champions status. (Basher and Mia did this on 8/9th September 2007) . Mia became a Supreme Grand Master and Basher became a Grand Champion). We have also showed at GCCF and Mia will compete at the Supreme in November 2008. In May 2008 Mia was crowned 3rd Best HHP in the European Region and will collect her award in December. Her show career was rated to possibly one of the most outstanding in such a short space of time. She now enjoys retirement from TICA but will pay her old friends the odd visit in 2009

Our older females are "resting" from shows at the moment to regain condition for later in 2009. Meanwhile our youngsters have taken to the stage and will attend several Fife anf TICA shows in early 2009. Watch out for forthcoming results and updates.
